The OPPO A5 showcases a refined design, measuring approximately 165.7 x 76.2 x 8 mm and weighing around 194 grams for the 5G variant, ensuring a comfortable in-hand feel. Its construction features a durable plastic back and frame, complemented by a robust glass front protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. More impressively, the OPPO A5 boasts an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, offering protection against splashes and dust in typical usage scenarios. Furthermore, it is certified as MIL-STD-810H compliant for military-grade shock resistance, having undergone rigorous multi-angle drop and high-intensity impact tests, signifying its enhanced durability against accidental drops. The device is offered in appealing finishes such as Aurora Green and Mist White.

A 4G variant also exists, equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 (11 nm) processor and an Adreno 610 GPU. It also features OPPO’s RAM Expansion technology, which intelligently allocates virtual RAM from unused storage to maintain fluidity.

For storage, the OPPO A5 provides options of 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The 5G model benefits from UFS 2.2 storage for faster data access, while the 4G model uses UFS 2.1. Running on Android 15 with OPPO’s ColorOS 15 overlay, the OPPO A5 provides a user-friendly and feature-rich interface. The software is optimized for smooth performance, backed by a 48-Month Fluency Protection certification. Connectivity options are comprehensive, including dual Nano-SIM support, GSM, HSPA, LTE, and 5G capabilities (for the 5G variant).
